Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 September 2026

In short:

  • Two services, one document: the Nyanko bot, which answers commands inside Discord, and Sala de Tela, the activity for sharing your screen in a call.
  • Both are personal, free projects, offered as is.
  • You answer for what you broadcast and for what you ask the bot to do — including for having the right to show it.
  • Nothing you broadcast is recorded. What the bot keeps is set out in the Privacy Policy.

1. What this document covers

These Terms cover two services, maintained by the same person:

  • Nyanko — the Discord bot: slash commands, context-menu actions, automatic announcements and the other features listed under Commands.
  • Sala de Tela — the Discord activity that lets you broadcast your own screen, with or without sound, to the people in the same room, plus the public website that serves the links it produces.

Where it says “the service”, it means both. Where a rule covers only one of them, it says so plainly.

Both are maintained as a personal project by a single individual, referred to here as “the maintainer”, who can be reached at ozreinherz@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By using either one — calling the bot, opening the activity inside Discord or visiting this website — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher age required by the law of your country, in line with Discord’s Terms of Service. You must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

The bot is maintained personally and is not open to any server: it runs in the servers it was invited to by the maintainer, or with the maintainer’s permission, and that permission may be granted, limited or withdrawn at any time, without prior notice. Inside a server, the administrators still decide which roles may use which commands.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • broadcast, send or ask the bot for content that is illegal, or that infringes the rights of others — including copyright;
  • broadcast or produce sexual material involving minors, incitement to violence, or content that violates Discord’s Community Guidelines;
  • harass, threaten, defame or expose other people’s personal data;
  • show someone’s screen, or someone’s confidential information, without permission;
  • use the blacklist, the announcements or any other feature to stalk or humiliate someone;
  • distribute malicious software or attempt to gain improper access to the service;
  • send excessive commands, automate calls to the bot, or overload the infrastructure in any way;
  • probe for flaws, bypass access limits or obtain permissions that were not granted to you;
  • bypass a room’s password or enter a room you were not invited to.

5. Your responsibility for what you broadcast

This section is about Sala de Tela. You are solely responsible for whatever appears on your screen. Before you broadcast, check what is visible: open windows, notifications, tabs, passwords and personal documents can be captured along with everything else without you noticing.

Prefer sharing a specific window or tab rather than the whole screen whenever that is enough.

The service does not moderate content. Whoever administers a room answers for who enters it and can protect it with a password.

6. Rooms

  • Identification uses your Discord account or a guest entry. We do not create a password or an account of our own.
  • Whoever creates the room can set, change or remove its password.
  • Rooms are temporary: once they are empty, they cease to exist in about 12 seconds.
  • There is no way to recover a closed room, and that is intentional.

7. Replies generated by artificial intelligence

When a server turns the feature on with /guild set chatgpt, part of the bot’s replies start being written by a third-party language model. About that:

  • the text is generated automatically and may be wrong, may invent facts, and may sound convincing without being true;
  • it is not medical, legal, financial or any other kind of professional advice, and must not be used as such;
  • turning the feature on makes the content of that channel’s messages leave Discord and reach the model provider. What that means in data terms is in the Privacy Policy, and it is up to the server’s administrators to tell the people who talk there;
  • the maintainer neither reviews nor guarantees anything the model writes, and whoever passes a reply along answers for it.

8. Credentials for other services

Two commands ask you to trust the bot with a credential for an account that is not your Discord one:

  • /mihoyo set token stores the session cookie of your HoYoLab account, which is what lets the bot do the daily check-in on your behalf;
  • /announcements twitch auth stores a Twitch access token, which is what lets the bot know when you go live.

Handing over those credentials is your choice and goes at your own risk. They grant access to part of your account on those services, and a leak here is a problem there. You can remove them whenever you like, with /mihoyo disable check-in and /announcements twitch disable.

Automating the daily check-in may go against HoYoverse’s terms. The account is yours and so are the consequences: the maintainer is not liable for suspension, blocking or loss of access to third-party accounts.

9. Availability

Both services are free and offered as is, with no commitment to availability, performance or continuity. They may go down, change addresses, have features altered or be shut down at any time, without prior notice. The bot’s current state is shown on the home page.

Broadcast quality depends on your connection, your equipment and your browser. Screen capture requires a compatible browser.

10. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, accuracy of information or freedom from errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service — including loss of data, loss of profit, decisions taken on the basis of a reply generated by artificial intelligence, or improper exposure of information you have broadcast.

Nothing in this section removes rights that Brazilian law grants on a non-waivable basis, including those of the Consumer Defence Code where applicable.

12. Suspension and termination

Access may be blocked, without notice, in the face of a breach of these Terms, of use that harms other people, or of a risk to the integrity of the service. The bot may be removed from a server, and the server may remove it, at any time and from either side.

13. Ownership, licence and third-party content

The rights over the code of both services remain with whoever wrote it. These Terms cover the services operated at this address and the Nyanko bot on Discord.

The content you broadcast remains yours: we claim no right over it, and we could not claim one — it is not stored.

Nyanko talks to services and games run by other companies — Discord, Twitch, HoYoverse, Aura Kingdom, Digimon Masters World, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube. Their trademarks, names and content belong to their respective owners, and this project is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them. The same goes for the characters and artwork shown on this site.

14. Relationship with Discord

This project is independent. It is not affiliated with Discord Inc., nor sponsored or endorsed by it. Discord is a registered trademark of Discord Inc. Use of Discord itself is governed by Discord’s own terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be changed. The date at the top marks the last change. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with the courts of the user’s domicile chosen to settle disputes.
